Our Summer Fabrics

Around 65% of all clothing made in the world is polyester--a type of plastic.
0% of Wulfka's clothing is polyester.

Hemp and Organic Cotton Jersey
53% Hemp, 44% Organic Cotton, 3% Spandex

Feels like living in your favorite tee. Naturally sweat-wicking and fast-drying. Slightly slubby texture.

Hemp is a fast-growing bast fiber. Because it's a hardy woody plant, hemp isn't vulnerable to bugs and doesn't require pesticides. It also replenishes nutrients in the soil more than it uses, so doesn't require fertilizers (making it great for regenerative farming!)

Combined with organic cotton and just a pinch of spandex to maintain stretch. This fabric is endlessly washable and keeps looking fabulous.

Hemp & Organic Cotton Woven
55% Hemp, 45% Organic Cotton

Hemp doesn't require pesticides or fertilizers (read above!), spun with organic cotton for a quintessential breezy summer fabric.

Our has a lovely two-tone texture It's "yarn-dyed," which means that the yarns were dyed before it was woven: the warp (vertical) yarns are white, the weft (horizontal) yarns are dyed a color. The result is a kind of crosshatched perfectly imperfect texture!

Challis
100% Oeko-Tex Certified Rayon

Rayon is a cellulose (plant-based!) fiber. It's made from wood pulp and processed into a fine, silky fiber that breathes like cotton. Wood, of course, doesn't require pesticides or fertilizers and requires much less labor to harvest.

Oeko-Tex Certification is the most stringent chemical testing that a fabric can get. It assures that there is nothing nasty in the dyes or finishes. Folks who are sensitive to certain fabrics or dyes love this certification.

Classic Linen Stripe
55% Linen, 45% Cotton

Crisp linen fabric that breathes and keeps you cool. Playful white & charcoal stripes are a classic summer beach fabric. The red fringe is 100% Cotton, which was difficult to source! (Most fringe is polyester!)

Cotton Crochet
100% Cotton

Ok, strictly speaking this is a "knit" but I like calling it a "crochet" because I think that communicates the texture better!

Deadstock crochet fabric made of 100% Cotton. A rare find! A more natural version of the classic beach--and music festival-staple.
