Isabella Pleated Skirt

High-waisted midi-length icy grey-blue diaphanous skirt! Try it with a tank in the summer, or oversized sweatshirt and moto boots in the winter. 

This is a deadstock fabric, leftover from defunct luxury designer Syl Markt. I have wanted to make a pleated skirt like this because of all the layering and outfit options. However, these permanent pleats are only possible with a synthetic fiber, since the pleating process applies heat to permanently crimp the plastic fibers. A gorgeous and versatile exception to our plant-based fabrics policy!
